Who We Are

A Canadian couple heading for retirement but not ready to settle down. Spent 9 months backpacking through Europe, Scuba dived off the Great Barrier Reef and walked around Ayers Rock, traveled throughout Southern Africa, explored the vast wilderness of Canada and USA. Witnessed the leather back turtle on the shores of Costa Rica, laying her eggs. Scuba dived throughout the Caribbean and had a hair raising cab ride in Caracas, Venezuela. The world is waiting to be explored.

Africa Overland

Traveling the world is our passion. Our 8 month overland African journey from Cape Town to Cairo was a high light of travel adventure for us. Traveling in our trusty Toyota Land Cruiser 4X4 we traversed over 35,000 km through 14 countries. We experienced fun, laughter, exhilaration, frustrations and scares and are left with treasured memories and great friends from Africa and across the globe. Africa captured our hearts and souls and we will be back to explore Western and Northern Africa.
